Sannai-Maruyama Historical Site

One of Japan’s top Jomon historical sites. Pottery and other artifacts excavated at the site are exhibited here.

Uto Shrine

An historical shrine dedicated to the goddesses of the sea.

Aomori Museum of Art

The works of famous Aomori-born artists are exhibited here. Take a picture with the 8.5m-tall Aomori-Ken dog statue.

Munakata Shiko Memorial Museum of Art

The works of Aomori native woodblock printmaker Shiko Munakata are displayed here.

Seiryu-ji Temple and Showa Daibutsu

A must-see: Japan’s largest bronze seated statue of Buddha (21.35m).

Gappo Park

In spring (late April), the beautiful cherry blossom trees in this park come into bloom.

Aomori Horseriding Club

Our instructors provide a worry-free lesson even for those with no horseriding eperience. In winter, try trekking through the snow corridors.

Curling facilities at Michigin Dream Stadium
